Forewarning:the pictures are bad because I took them at night. Sorry. :-(
In the living room Mama hung a garland above our big window and hung a Duct Tape (yes, duct tape) wreath that I made.
The lamp shade was blue and it didn't match the furniture in the living room since we took the setee out so we wrapped a scarf around it and pinned it to the lamp shade. :-)
I think it's cute.
In the kitchen Mama had a coffee/tea station and an Italian Cream Soda station. On the island she set a bunch of cookies which very unfortunately I didn't get a picture of.
On the kitchen table she put less "nice" cookies and unsweet food so the little ones could get to it.
You can see a mirror in the background. Mama hung pretty plates up next to it. I love what she does.
We have two bookshelves in the kitchen and Mama put real something on them with pearls and holly and candles. It's very pretty.
We had a really good time. The first people to get here got here around 1:03 I think. The last people to leave left at 10:00 or a little later. Yes, it was only 1:00-6:00 but it was just one famiy and they and Mama and Daddy chatted for a while.
A few random pictures. :-)
Millie all curled up on daddy's jacket.
The bow that was in Millie's hair from the groomers. But it fell off and she wouldn't let me put it back on. :-(
All of the snowflakes I made and hung. That isn't even all of them.
So he looks weird in this photo, but seriously?!?! I made him put his green plaid shirt on and put a black bow tie on him. IT WAS SOOO CUTE!!! He wouldn't wear it for the Christmas Party though. :-(
The doctor told me I could only wear sneakers or lace up combat boots so Mama bought me a pair of boots. I still have to wear my brace (hence the fat left ankle). But I'm so happy. I can wear my skinny jeans!!!! I can wear my skirts to church!!!!! And plus, I love lace up combat boots. I'm hoping the left boot doesn't get too stretched out so when I don't have a brace I can still wear them without looking stupid.
I guess that's all.
Hugs and Kisses,
Kaylee
