Hunting

Daddy and our upstairs neighbors Dad and his wife's Dad went hunting this weekend. They didn't get anything. But I do have a few pictures of Daddy posing.

Daddy set up the tent in the bedroom because the boys wanted to sleep in it. Yes, we have a giant tent.

I'm doing OK. I went to another PT (physical therapy) appointment yesterday. I have to say, it wasn't that bad at all. My ankle decided to behave and not hurt. Yay! On my own I can move my ankle:a teeny tiny bit down, up sorta far...it, like, jerks up but I can hold up for a little while.  (The thing is when I take my boot off I prop my foot up on a couple pillows and gravity makes my ankle go down a little by itself so I can move it up to about regular position on my own.) and I can also make it go sideways (in not out). I'm still swollen...pictures coming for that. :-(    My pressure blister has scabbed over and it hurts sometimes. The PT lady says it would be easier to move my ankle if it wasn't still swollen. And to get it unswollen...more propping up on pillows, I'm suppose to like massage my foot or something to make the fluid go away. The feeling is mostly back to my toes...they still feel a little funny. The bottom of my foot though...ugh. I hate it when Mama touches it. It feels so weird. The PT lady said to do a different surface thingy where I take different things (you can start with soft stuff like cotton balls) but use different textures and gently rub them on the bottom of my foot. She said it helps with helping your brain register what your foot is feeling. Something about nerves. And I have to take a bath or shower. With my leg uncovered. Which means I have to get over the side if the tub without anything on my leg. I'm not looking forward to that to say the least. But, Mama insists upon my wishing my leg...it's starting to stink. Waaah...I don't want to. So look forward to a post about that sometime soon.

This is just one incision. I have no clue why my skin looks so weird. I have like two more. The last one is right down by my ankle.

OK OK. 1. My foot is shiny because there was coconut oil on it and the light was reflecting off it.  2. The lighting is bad because it was late at night and we had to have the light on.  3.It was taken on my iPod. So my foot doesn't look quite like that. But hopefully you can get the general idea. :-D    4. Yes, it is super swollen.

Piersen wanted me to tell you that he's writing a comic that he wants to publish. He also wanted me to take a picture. ;-)

He's not finished yet. He said you can read it if you want.

  1. The first thing Jarah said when she saw the pic of your feet was "Oh! her toenails are pretty!" Praying you'll be able to move around more!

Cool tent! It's always so fun when dad puts the tent up in the house:-)

Good job on your Comics Piersen!

    Love and miss you!
