Bath

As I had mentioned before my boot makes it possible for me to take a bath with my leg in the water. So Saturday night that's what I did. Yes, it did feel pretty good to wash it. But I was afraid. And she wants me to take another pne in a few days. :-(So I got in the bath with my boot still on. Then I took my boot and sock off and propped my leg up on a bunch of towels then Mama turned the water on. Yes, I wanted to get in before there was any water. I know I'm weird. So then I gently wiped my dead skin off. And let me just say, BLEGH! The water got disgusting. It was too gross to wash my hair. The skin that came off the bottom of my foot was the worse. I'll be nice and not go into detail. ;-)  So then Mama had to get inbetween my toes. And then she rubbed the bottom of my foot...and I cried. The bottom of my foot feels SO weird. It's like when you touch it super bad pins and needles mixed with tingles and it's just...horrible. So then she lathered up her hands with lavender soap and gently rubbed my leg with that and put it on the bottom of my foot and inbetween my toes (sort of) and then just splashed water on it. So now it is a bit cleaner. When I took my boot of yesterday she did say the bottom of my foot looks much better. So that's good. My scab is still there and right around my ankle and the break it's still really sore (the skin). Mama said she think the blue cast was too tight around there. I think so too. It got kinda purple around there and it still has some marks where the cast was. My leg is still purple and bruised and like I mentioned the scab from the pressure blister is still there. Mama took the little steri-strips of my incisions. I had three incisions and the top two had about 4-5 stitches each I think. The bottome incision had I think about 7 stitches...yeah that sounds about right. Anyways my stitches already got taken out but the she put the little strips over the spots where the stitches were. So mama took those off. She and daddy said my incisions look very good.  So then I got out and dried off and put oils on my foot and made sure it was dry and then put my sock on. Ad then halfway through putting my boot on...the power went out. But we got my boot on thanks to my iPod and got to stay up a little later than usual. So yeah...that's how I washed my leg. Tomorrow I go to the doctors. I might be able to do some slight weight bearing if he think my leg looks good.  No x-rays. Hopefully no tears...  I was doing pretty good on bending my ankle but it seems to have stiffened up...hopefully what I can do the doctor thinks it's still good. Please pray. For good news from the doctor and maybe even weightbearing. So anyways...pictures!

My incisions. The longest one is the one closest to my ankle. Where the shadow is is right around my break. I don't know if you can tell in the picture but my leg has a dent right there. We can't figure out if I got dented during the accident or if it's just the metal plate pushing my skin making it look flat. But you can see the dots and a couple bruises so that's where my break is. I don't even know what the incisions should look like but I think they look very good. Anyways...

Now, the bad lighting in the other pictures made it look too red and purple but my foot is still bruised up. You can't really tell in this pic.but you can see the insicions and the little dots from where he marked me for surgery and the big scab. This pic actually makes it look less bad. My foot is more purple then that.

This one is a little more true to life looking. :-) And Nathan, I can totally understand if it looks like I grew in this picture. ;-) When I saw the pic I even went "Is my leg that skinny? I look anorexic!" Yes, I asked Mama that. It jus looks really skinny in this pic. :-/ anyways...

I won't show you the picture of the bottom of my foot...it's embarrassing...unless you want to see.

My dog is very weird.

But she's so small compared to Libby. Ha!
