Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July!!! We are going to a friends house for a cookout today. I hope that whatever you guys do you'll have lots of fun! 

Right by our church there is a kayak rental place that the boys have been wanting to go to for a while now. Daddy said we could but instead we borrowed a friend from church's kayaks and just went to a small little lake last Saturday. It was fun. It was a bit creepy because once you were on the water you could see all he way to the bottom of the lake and it was pretty deep. And I didn't even go to the middle. Ha! Saxon was looking forward to it but once we got there he would NOT get in a kayak. Stinker. I finally convinced him to sit with me just right by the shore but he wouldn't let me paddle anywhere. Daddy and Bub were gonna go across the lake but they turned back halfway...Daddy didn't feel comfortable taking Bub there. It was too deep. Hopefully one day we will be able to buy our own kayaks.

Our neighbours got two goats. Millie goes up and tries to sniff them but if they move she jumps back quick. haha. She's afraid of them. The larger goat gets irritated with her and the very first day she actually jumped up and stomped her hooves on the ground! Millie jumped back quick. The littler goat seems somewhat interested in her and since the neighbours put up a fence for the goats the other day it will be better for both the dog and the goats.
