Whittier
Today we took a trip down to Whittier. We went out to lunch/dinner and got shrimp and halibut. It was soooo good. Then while the boys looked around and watched some people fish Mama, Nana, and I went into a gift shop. And yes, I got a wheelchair and went around Whittier in that. It wasn't too embarrassing. :-) But since the gift shop was so small I had to go in there on my crutches. It wasn't that hard. After I got out of there though and sat down in the wheelchair my right knee and ankle hurt so bad. I massaged them and that helped. Daddy said it was because I don't use that leg enough. I got a bone necklace that's in the shape of a whale tail. It's really pretty. Nana got some jewelry and a purse and Mama got a pearl necklace and a bracelet. It's all really pretty. So then we drove around a little. Before we left we got ice cream. Also, to get to Whittier you have to go through the tunnel that's inside the actual mountain. It's kinda creepy. It's 2 1/2 miles long and there's 8 safe houses. And...on the way home we saw a bunch of cars on the side of the road so we pulled over real fast. Guess what there was? Mountain Goats! We had never seen wild ones before. We had only seen them at the zoo. It was soooo cool. We watched for about 15 minutes. Mama saw a young bull moose but no one else saw it and we saw no other moose. Whittier is gorgeous! Unfortunately, the only pictures I took are on Nana's iPhone. Maybe I can text them to them to the iPad and then put them on here. I'm so grateful to Jesus that my leg was good today. It was my first day really going out and I was just fine all day. Well, I guess I'll go now. Bye bye!!
