Hello, Peeps!
This is a bit late but I shall tell you of our conference anyhoo.
Thursday night ( not last week but I believe the week before that) the hoops got here! YAY! We stayed up until about 12:00 and were then sent to bed. The girls and I talked some but we were all pretty tired and we wanted to be rested for the conference the next day, and we just decided we could talk late another night. The next morning we, left the house around 10:00 to go the conference. We listened to a talk from Doug Phillips which was quite interesting. Then we went to the cars and ate lunch which was chips and cookies and crackers and chicken salad. Thanks, Aunt Annie! Then we went back inside and everyone except the Mom's went to a bird talk. We listened to a lady talk about owls and she then brought an owl out of it's cage. It was rescued. It had actually flew into a car window and broke it's wing. Poor owl. Then a lady started to talk about birds and then it started to get hot. If the bird lady had spoken up just a little more it would've been more enjoyable but we could hardly hear what she was saying. Elijah left to go to Aunt Annie I think. And then Abigail took Selah potty, and then to Aunt Annie and then Abigail came back. But then she took Saxon to Mama and this time Abigail stayed away. And then Uncle Kenny left. So Leah, Jarah, and I were stuck with Nathan and Piersen who were getting antsy to be done in the sweltering hot room. Ugh. Seriously, it was so hot someone had to bring a fan that quietly blows cool air in. Then it was finally over and we left to the cool hallway. And then Leah and I yelled at Abigail...not really but you get it. ;-)
Then Mama took Saxon and the boys home and Aunt Annie and the girls and I went to a writing class. Which was just the lady explaining to the parents how the writing program worked. Which was sorta pointless for the girls and I. I don't think Aunt Annie enjoyed it very much either....I might have seen her starting to doze once or twice. Tsk,tsk. ;-p
And then we went home. And walked the dogs. But only two at a time. They were a bit to rambunctious for us 4 girls. Oh and there were 4 dogs. Two from my family and two from their family. :-)
The next day (Saturday) we went and listened to another talk from Doug Phillips. Then the hoops went to lunch with some friends from Kenai and we went to Costco for lunch and then we took Mama back to listen to a talk about kids and Daddy took us kids back out to town to run a couple other errands and then we came back to the conference and then the hoops came back and then we went home. And this time us 4 girls attempted to take all 4 dogs on a walk. Which, honestly, wasn't all that bad. Then we stayed up really late chatting. Also when we got home we discovered that a certain Kalani (one of the hoops dogs) had chewed through the wires that made the trailer go. Uh-oh. Uncle Kenny was not very pleased. He spent an hour or two that night fixing it.
Then on Sunday we got up and hungout until 10:00 and then the hoops had to leave. Wahhhh!!! :'-(. They still had to go to anchorage to do a Costco run. The we found Abigail's insulin in the fridge. Whoops! They had to come back and get that. So I don't think they got on the road until about 1:00. So they were in for a late night drive. Poor hoopies.
Alright I know I've yet to do pictures but they're on my iPod not the iPad so....soon. And I hope you can understand everything I said I was kinda just typing nonstop without with really paying much attention. My bad. I'm having a lazy day. There is no sun today. :-( Don't worry I'll double check my grammar and such. And on a side note...auto correct on here is seriously starting to get on my nerves today. It's trying to change a bunch of stuff. It changed hoopies to hollies. Ugh. I fixed it though. Maybe it's all my fault...I'm speed typing today. :-)
The snow is almost all gone! Except the forecast for Friday has snow on it. NOOOOOO!!!!! See how much grass?
So yeah, I guess I'll go now. Love you all! I'll get pics up ASAP.
And I case you need a smile.....a sleeping puppy. :-D. She looks like a little ball of fuzz...cutie pie!
And while I was checking this post before I published it...Millie decide to stretch out...lol.
I love you Kaylee! You are so lucky...the snow is gone on your grass and the snow is still covering all of our grass and driveway. Ugh! And....it has been snowing for 2 days straight here and it is May:-( Waaaaaahhhh:-) We all miss you guy's sooo much. Love you!
