One Month Old (yesterday)

Can you believe it?!? Avonlea has already been here for a whole month!! (See? This is why emojis need to work on Blogger. I need to use one of those gasping faces)

She is just a darling. Positively precious. Sometimes she's just so stinkin' cute I can't even handle it. Literally. I get kinda weird and freak out when that happens. She's just. So. Cute. 

Everything has gone pretty well so far:-) She wasn't gaining weight though so we had to supplement with formula a bit:-/ But now she's finally gaining it again so yay!! Pray for her to keep having fat thoughts and to get chubbies;-) 

I take a lot of pictures of her. Like a lot. Ok? I can't help it. So instead of putting twenty-six (yes, I counted) single pictures on here I made collages. ;-P Enjoy the load of adorable-ness!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Sunday Outfit #13

Well, we finally made it to church yesterday after four weeks of missing it:-/ 

Ha! It was good. Avvie slept a lot of the time so that made it easier;-) Of course, all the girls there wanted to hold her. So she got passed around ;-) 

I wore a dress from ThredUp I got recently with brown sandals, and a jean jacket. My hair was down and curly, I wore normal makeup, my ring necklace (of course;-P ) and a watch and bracelet. I was kinda going for a Summery look;-) 

I'm never going to be able to take a good picture. Phooey. 

So yep:-) I have a couple other posts in the making. Right now I'm snuggling my sleeping baby sister so they should be up pretty soon.

Easter

Happy Easter! (Late) Grrr...I am always late at posting on here. I seriously need to get better :-/ sorry! 

Anywho! We had a good day. We didn't go to church cause mama isn't quite ready for that just yet. We hung out at home. Had Indian chicken from a jar for dinner. HA! 

We got Easter baskets and hunted eggs. :-) 

And then for dessert we had donuts. Yummy! ;-)

First Lost Tooth

I'm afraid I'm a little late on posting this. About a week ago Saxon lost his first tooth. It was definitely ready to come out. The big tooth was starting to come in and was pushing this one forwards. So because of that he doesn't quite have the big toothless grin but he's still absolutely adorable. ;-)

Whew! I finally changed the look of my blog. I was really getting tired of that fall style. :-/  The one I just did isn't my favorite but it's better than the previous one:-)
Maybe I'll change it again some time but in the meantime I'm distracted with my baby sister. OhMyGoodness! Isn't that awesome to say?!? :-D Ok, well I'm off now. Love y'all!

Avonlea Lane

On Friday, March 20, 2015 we welcomed Avonlea Lane Barber into the world. :-) 

Mama's c-section went well and I even got to go into the OR with Daddy. Instead of staying in the hospital till Sunday morning she got to come home Saturday evening which was very nice. Avonlea is doing well :-) She's a pretty happy baby...so far ;-P She weighed 8lbs 4oz, was 19 1/2 inches long, and came out with a head full of dark, soft hair :-D

I love you, Avonlea, and am so happy and blessed to have you as my baby sister. I can't wait to watch you grow up and, of course, spoil you ;-) Love you so much, baby sister.

Pre-Baby Date

Saturday I went on my date with Mama:-) We had fun. We got coffees and went to target and then ran some errands at WalMart and Fred's. I got a couple things for my room:-)

Sunday Outfits #11 and #12

#11. I wore a skirt (that use to be a dress but got too short so I just cut the top off and made it a skirt. Lol!) over leggings with a tan shirt and my boots. Hair curled and down. Normal makeup. Pearl necklace :-)

#12. I wore a red maxi skirt, brown Tshirt, boots, and a jean jacket for a little while. Hair was down and straight. Normal makeup. Normal jewelry ;-)

A little update

Hi there! 

I've been terrible about staying up to date on here :-(  sorry! So, what's been going on lately? Let's see...

A few weeks ago I got my hair trimmed, bangs redone, and a purple streak. I love it! 

Before and after. The hair dresser definitely listens to what you ask-that's why mama likes her. I asked for barely any taken off my bottoms-just enough for it to look better. She definitely didn't take much off! I think next time I'll ask for a little more off;-)

Baby Avonlea is coming in less than a week!!!! Gah!!! I. Am. So. Excited!!! 

Mama likes to take us kids out on a date before baby comes so we get some Mama time before she's occupied wth a newborn. So while Bub went out with Daddy and Mama last weekend Saxon and I stayed home and painted, took a couple selfies;-), and made cupcakes. Oh, and we also painted on eachothers ️faces. Ha! We're goofs. 

Daddy got surgery done on his varicose veins. It went well:-) His legs are still a little sore but I think it's probably worth it if he won't have to deal with his messed up veins afterwards.
