Hobbit Trailers

The last (!!!) hobbit movie (Battle of the Five Armies) comes out in theaters on December 17th. I wish it came out earlier because the Hoops are going to be here around Thanksgiving and we SO wanted to see it together. But we'll get to watch it together some day. Anyways, we will go see it on Christmas as we have for the past two hobbit movies. I am SOOOO excited for it to come out but at the same time I'm really sad...it's the last one! :-( Anyways, here two different trailers for it. I love them both. They make me so excited to see the movie!!!

Cookies

The bread flour isn't necessary. I used normal and it worked out fine. Do do the cake flour though. :-) 

I like my cookies with not too too much chocolate chips and I like to bake them until they're crunchy and I'll usually eat one as soon as they're cooled enough to eat but they're my favorite about a day later when they're all crunchy. ;-P

Saxon helped me bake this batch. Sorta. Really he made a mess with the flour and tortured the dog. He wasn't terrible though. ;-)

AHHHHHH!!!!! I am SO happy. We all are. When the lady said it was a girl I started bawling. ;-) I was quite excited. 

Intermediate Archery

Today Bub and I started archery again! Yay! We are doing the intermediate class. There are four other kids besides ourselves. I'm really excited to be starting archery again. I love it. (I was actually hitting where I suppose to be! ;-P )

We scheduled a thing to go for an hour so I can try out different kinds of bows and just find out what I'm comfortable with because I'd like to do competition eventually. Bub is just doing it for fun so he's just going to get a Genesis Bow. 

In other news....WE GET TO FIND OUT WHAT THE BABY IS ON FRIDAY!!!!!!! I am praying it will be a girl but of course I will be happy if it's a boy. :-)

I just wanted to share a few pictures from lately. 

There's a tree outside our living room window and there was this shadow on the wall one day. I thought it was pretty:-)

Daddy and mama had to go somewhere and they were out really late and Saxon fell asleep while we were watching a movie. :-)

There's a coffee place in Anchorage called SteamDot and their coffee's are so pretty. 

That day Saxon and I took quite a few goofy pictures.

Les Mis

Last Friday Mama, I and bunch of ladies from church went to see Les Mis on stage in Anchorage. We had a good time. We left here to pick up a lady down the street and then we drove to Anchorage where we had dinner at a place called Orso. It was good. Mama got lamb and I got chicken fettuccine. I had tiramisu for dessert but mama didn't want dessert. What? ;-) I forgot to take a picture of my dinner but I did manage to take a picture of dessert but apparently I deleted it. Haha! Whoops. I guess that's what happens when you wait almost a week to post about something. Anyways then we went to Les Mis. It was good. The singing was really nice and the acting wasn't terrible. It just made me want to be able to sing like that though! ;-P

We finally got home around 12:00 but we didn't even go to bed until 1:00. We're goofs.

Smyth Family

Sunday Outfit #2

Today I wore a jean skirt with a long sleeve striped shirt from OldNavy. I wore black boots. My jewelry was simple-an anchor necklace from Forever 21 (they have the cheapest jewelry) and my usual diamond earrings. My hair was halfway up and I had my usual blush, eyeshadow,  eyeliner, and mascara. 

The shirt is sorta weird, the shoulders are big but the sleeves are getting short:-/

Happy Birthday!

I turned 15 Sunday and am quite excited. Saturday we dropped the boys off at our old neighbors house so Daddy, Mama, and I could go on a birthday date. It was kinda weird...being in the car with both parents and no boys. Haha! First we had to go the store with the boys on the way to drop them off. We got the neighbors a pizza for lunch, and we got a coffee to share. :-) then we dropped the boys off and of course the parents chatted for a while. Then Daddy, Mama, and I went to Colony Inn Cafe for lunch. It was really good. I got a steak and a seafood bucket. 

I ate all the seafood except some of the crab legs cause I got full. We brought almost all the steak home to the boys 

Mama got an avocado BLT. I didn't taste it but man was it big! 

(It came with more onion rings than that. She already ate some:-) )

Daddy got something....I don't remember what it's called and I didn't get a pic. :-/

Afterwards we went to Target and walked around. Girls and boy split up cause it was no fun for him to look at clothes. ;-) I got an awesome plaid flannel button down!! I've been wanting one for the longest time and I finally got one! It's a hit tight behind the shoulders but it'll be fine for now:-)

(The sleeves are not too short. Lol. It just looks that way)

Today, Sunday, I got Blueberry muffins for breakfast. I love blueberry muffins. 

Yummy! 

We ate lunch at church. When we got home I opened presents. I got Dixit(a board game), an owl mug, Ferroro Rochers, and a card. I also got my new iPhone and on Friday night mama and j and bunch of ladies from church are gonna go see Les Mis on stage. :-) 

And of course, money from the grandparents. ;-)

For my cake I wanted a chocolate toffee coffee icecream cake because last year when we visited Fairbanks Aunt Annie got Leah and I one. It was really good so mama was gonna make a copy cat but we actually ended up buying it from Coldstone. Haha! It was the same exact one Aunt Annie got. Mama was really tired and we were (me still) trying to get over colds and she just wasn't feeling up to making a cake. 

The candles dripped on it. Hehe

We also got a visit from some moose! :-)

Sunday Outift #1

I know I know I already did Outfit 1. Well I'm starting over cause my friend Leah is going to do this with me. :-) 

So to recap every Sunday we wear a different outfit and post it on our blogs. We are going to see how many Sunday's we can go wearing a different outfit. So we could wear an outfit one Sunday and then another Sunday we could wear the same skirt and shoes but with a different shirt. The idea is just to not be boring and wear the same thing every Sunday. ;-)

Today I wore a gray Gap skirt I got off of Thredup with a red Mossimo sweater and black boots from the Thrift Store. I put my hair halfway up and wore a really pretty necklace Daddy and Mama got me last year for Christmas. I just wore plain diamond earrings. I switched up my eyeshadow color a bit but it's not very noticeable. I wore my usual blush, eyeliner, and mascara. :-)
