Beginning Archery-Completed

Monday Piersen and I had our last beginning archery lesson. We really enjoyed and learned from it.

I use a left handed bow which means that my left eye is my dominant one. It's funny beause I'm actually right handed but again-right or left handed bows don't have anything to do with your dominant hand. Just your dominant eye.

Piersen uses a right handed bow which means he is right eye dominate. Yet again, it's funny cause he is left handed.

We got to shoot balloons on our last day and it was funny cause usually at archery the other kids are the ones who are hitting the target the most and I have difficulty hitting the target. But with the balloons I was having an easy time whilst everyone else was having a difficult time. Ha!

Our first Intermediate class is on October 27. I am very much looking forward to it. I'm pretty sure Bub and I are going to get our own bows. Saxon might too-not sure. Bub is going to get a Genesis Bow but we don't know what kind I'm going to get because if you want to do competition (which is what I'm hoping to eventually do) you have to have a certain bow for certain types of competitions. We are going to schedule a thing with Ms. Judy (our archery teacher) where I will go there for an hour and try out some different bows to see what I like best. :-) I will post more after that and when we get our bows. :-)

On Sunday none of us were feeling good (except Daddy and Sax) but it was a gorgeous day so we decided to go on a drive to Point (I think it's also called "Port" for certain things) McKenzie. We were not up to hiking so a nice pretty drive was very enjoyable. :-) On the way there we drove through a little neighborhood area that's suppose to be amazing (most of it wasn't though lol!) and there was a newly built house for sale so Daddy pulled into the drive way and made us get out to look at the view. And what a view!! It was gorgeous! That house must've been selling for so much money....
Mountains and a huge marshy area.

A little creek with a wooden bridge and four wheeler trails. I guess it must be relatively safe to go four wheeling on it. There are definitely well driven tracks.

More mountains. :-)

And more mountains. ;-)

And remember, whoever ends up living here gets to see this everyday from their driveway and windows. Wow! And the people on that street have pretty much the same view too.

Sick

I will not be putting up a picture of my Sunday outfit today because we are all sick. Which means we aren't going to church. I'm going to wear pajamas all day. Unless we take a drive somewhere (which I think we are because it's really nice but we don't want to hike) and then I will just put jeans and a tshirt on. Or black sweatpants with a Tshirt. ;-)
Being sick is no fun. We all have colds. Saxon was affected first but he seems to be doing better now. Daddy has not gotten sick thankfully. Bub isn't really sick but even if he did get sick he'd be sick for like a day. He never stays sick for long. Seriously. Mama and I have it the worse. Yesterday I only had a sore throat but today I woke up with a stuffy nose too. Ugh. So anyways, just pray for speedy recoveries please. :-)

Love you,all!

Sunday Outfit #1 and other random things

Well we are all the way moved into the Clayton house. The Baroness house is empty and I'm pretty sure someone is moving in today.
I have been very bad and not taken pictures of the house yet because as we are in the stages of getting everything where it belongs the house has been...well messy. But we can't really help it. Seriously, we brought over like two to three car loads of things every day for a week. It was bound to get messy. :-) So you'll have to wait a bit longer to see our house.
But we are pleased with the house and it's been very quiet and peaceful. :-)

The last couple of days it's been cloudy and raining on and off but today it was blue skies and all sunny and even thought there was a breeze all day the temperature was wonderful.

At Starbucks you could get a fall coffee buy one get one free so after church all the ladies (and me and another girl) went and got coffees. The Moms were all talking and me and the other girl were bored so we walked over to Target (it was in the same plaza) and walked around.

I finally (!) got a floor length mirror so I can see my entire outfit. Ha! So I've decided to take a picture every Sunday of what I'm wearing and see how many Sundays I can wear a different outfit. Remember when I tried to do this but on a daily basis? Eek! That was a complete failure. Haha! So that's why I'm doing just Sundays. ;-)
So today I wore skinny jeans with a tunic over it and a belt around my tunic. I wore my brown lace up boots and just had my hair down.
I'm hoping my outfit taking skills will improve as time goes on. And as my mirror gets hung up. ;-)
Please ignore my messy bed. Yeah, I'm sleeping on the floor. I don't really care about my mattress.(well my mattress got wet cause we used our neighbors trailer to move all our big furniture but the guys only put one tarp over our stuff and then it started raining so the mattresses got wet but everyone's dried before bed that night...except mine. I just haven't cared about the mattress.)

So now just some random pictures! :-)

This is what our front yard looks like. This is the view from my bedroom window.

I know this is really weird but I just really enjoy what the bottoms of my sneakers look like. They leave really cool prints.  Ha! I'm so weird.

See? One tarp was not enough. (My mattress was on the other side of the trailer so...yeah. It got really wet.

We were drinking coffee out of foam cups on our back deck and it made me think of drinking coffee with Papa Rich and Nana KK at their office. :-)

There was a Mama moose and twins in our back yard three different times in one day and then at night they were in our front yard. So happy!! :-)

The Mom just stared at us for a while. It was kinda creepy. Ha!

Taking a bunch of goofy pictures with your brothers with a new app (that has a bunch of awesome filters!) is really fun. :-)

For some reason I just really liked the way this looked. ;-P

Sometimes when you get frustrated you have to hide behind your jacket hood (which works awesome as an Elven hood) and a curtain of hair. ;-)

We burned a bunh of boxes with the neighbors little boy and the flames were big and cool. :-)

I guess that's all for now. :-) I'll try to take pictures of the house as soon as possible.

Lots of love!

Four-Wheeler

Yes. I went on a four-wheeler. It was a five seater with seatbelts, windshield, half doors (ya know like car doors but no window), roof, real steering wheel, blinkers...the whole big deal.  It's like a cool car meant for crazy rides. ;-) So anyways, at first I may have been pretty freaked out and tried to back out but Daddy made me stay (which I'm grateful for LOL). It's the neighbors so he drove us. I sat in the front and the first couple of hills we went down I may have asked him "what are you doing?!" Haha! I'm so weird. So after the first few hills I was pretty cool with it. He didn't take us down the hill Daddy and I crashed on. We went down a trail where there were muddy puddles and when we went fast through them mud sprayed everywhere. It was pretty cool. :-) And kinda creepy cause for a couple seconds you couldn't see out the front windshield because of all the dirty water. So yes, I might've over-reacted a bit (I always do...about everything) but all in all I had a fun time. :-)

Daddy, Me, Bub, Saxon, and the neighbor went.

House

We got a house! Okay wait, let me back up. We live in a two bedroom, one bath duplex. We can deal with two bedrooms-sorta. The one bathroom can be annoying. The duplex wouldn't be so bad if it was a side by side duplex with separate yards. But it's an up and down duplex where we share a yard. It's just been cramped over here lately. We love our neighbors. Truly! But we just need some more space, especially with the baby coming.  So....we searched and searched Craigslist. We found houses we liked and called, only to be told they had been taken. We found houses that might work, called, scheduled an appointment, saw it, and decided that it wasn't after all the one for us. And then we found one we really liked. So we went and looked at it without Daddy. After some discussion he decided it was too much money. But then we saw it again, and the price had been lowered! Daddy looked at it and approved so we put in an application. A few days later the realtor called and said we had been approved and would we like it? Would we ever! So that's how we got a house. :-) We are just renting, not buying. We get the keys on Monday and should hopefully be sleeping in it by next weekend. It's a four bed, two bath so it's plenty big for us. :-) We are super excited. I'll take pictures and put them up on here so you can all see. :-)
